After completing my doctorate in comparative literature and mythology (with an emphasis in women’s narrative), I began teaching courses in mythic literature and women’s studies. Concurrently, I always remained rooted in music and drumming. I am now in two female driven rock bands in the Seattle area and manage all PR and marketing.
I recently published a book based on my dissertation titled Sabina Spielrein: The Woman and the Myth (SUNY Press, 2017). For more information, please click here.
I was recently invited to speak about Spielrein by Dr. Jasmine Shadrack at the University of Northampton, UK. I have also been invited to Sweden to speak at the Ingmar Bergman Film Festival about the nature of the feminine in Bergman's oeuvre. My book reviews have been feature in the Journal of Popular Culture and my poetry has appeared in Inscape.
I also love to create zines that highlight underrepresented voices in the literary and visual arts. To find our more information about the zine Automata, which features Q&A with the co-founder of the Seattle Black Panther chapter Elmer Dixon, Best American short story writer Caille Millner, and Sacramento Poet Laureate Indigo Moor, please contact me.

I am also the founder of Womxn & Audio, which launched Gear Fanatix, a site for underrepresented voices in audio engineering through demos and reviews of gear. As a musician and educator, I am developing a 1-year certificate program in Audio Production with North Seattle College aimed at serving marginalized students!
